I’ve said this more times than I can count, but photographing families as they grow is one of my very favorite things about being a photographer. So, when families cross from one milestone to another and invite me to photograph them along the way I count it a huge privilege.
That was certainly the case with Mary-Paige and David’s May wedding. I photographed Mary-Paige’s high school senior portraits several years ago and when she emailed to say she was getting married and wanted me to be her photographer I was thrilled.
Their wedding was on a hot May evening in Tennessee but that didn’t stop the Hall and Watts crew from having a fun and fabulous day. Not only was Mary-Paige a gorgeous bride, she was so easy-going which made for an enjoyable day. Not to mention every detail was so well thought out and just beautiful.
Before I share wedding images I can’t help but share a few from Mary-Paige’s bridal session we did several months prior to her wedding day.
Now for wedding day images…
Shelby is Mary-Paige’s baby. She’s the sweetest dog ever and was very well-behaved during her portrait time with the bride!
The stained glass window in this photograph was given in memory of David’s grandmother and a portrait that included it was one of their few image requests. I love how it came out.
The reception at the Watts family home was stunning. Every detail was so well thought out. The florals were to die for and they even had the talented Wyatt Waters paint a portrait of Mary-Paige and David throughout the day.
